Pickleball in the Park

What:

All Chapel members and friends are invited to come and play Pickleball with us. Whether you're a seasoned player or have never tried it before, we welcome you to join us! We'll be more than happy to teach you the game if you're a beginner, and if you're already familiar with the sport, we would appreciate your assistance in guiding others.

FOR NEW PLAYERS

If you have not played before, prior to attending, please watch the videos on these pages from USA Pickleball, What is Pickleball? and Master the Basics.

These videos are HIGHLY recommended to watch prior to joining us for Pickleball in the Park.

When:

Every other Sunday @ 3pm (weather permitting)

Where:

Forest Hill Park - Pickleball Courts
Springhill Ave, Richmond VA, 23225

Park near the Stone House on the corner of W. 41st St & Stonewall Ave and walk East towards the tennis courts (the Pickleball courts are between the tennis courts and playground).

NOTE: Porta Potties are available on-site

What to Bring:

  • Your own paddles and pickleballs if you have them, if not, we will have extras to borrow.

  • Athletic clothing

  • Tennis shoes (ideally with support for side-to-side movement)

  • Water

  • Sunscreen

  • Sunglasses/Hat
